Sunflower Systems Enhances Mobile Asset Management Solutions Platform

Sunflower Systems®, the leader in enterprise asset management software and solutions announces two new mobile platforms: Motorola MC9190-G and MC9190-Z. MC9190-G is a highly rugged 1D and 2D barcode reader, MC9190-Z contains the same features but it is a RFID reader as well. The new platforms require Sunflower Mobile 5.0.0.1 which is now available for download on Sunflower’s Customer Care Center.

Sunflower’s mobile solutions for receiving, physical inventory, and excess management simplify lifecycle asset management processes by bringing asset data to a handheld device.  Users receive faster and more accurate physical inventory results using Sunflower’s handheld scanning solution by streamlining the receiving process and increasing accountability by capturing item information on a mobile device at the point of delivery.  Multiple identifier types (linear barcode, 2-D data matrix, RFID) are easily recorded from individual assets in the field.

Sunflower Systems Enhances Customer Care Support Center

Sunflower Systems presented customer support enhancements at the most recent User Group meeting, held Thursday, February 13, 2014.

Participants were informed of updates coming to the Customer Care Support Center (CCSC). The full rollout will enable customers to access current and historical support data, product documentation and downloads, and other relevant articles in addition to the support ticket tracking that was already available through the tool. Additional resources are also available on CCSC, for both User Group Members and Sunflower customers with new information being adding daily. 

In addition to learning about the planned CCSC release, customers were also given a demonstration of the Sunflower Maintenance module which enables organizations to establish preventative maintenance schedules, manually create scheduled and emergency repair work orders, and also create and track meter readings for all types of assets.

The Sunflower Systems User Group is a formally organized, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a forum for Sunflower Systems customers to network, exchange ideas and information, share business tools, and to communicate with Sunflower Systems and their partners to share the business needs and goals of members. The only requirement for membership is to maintain and administer an instance of one or more Sunflower Systems products and hold an active maintenance agreement with Sunflower Systems.

The Sunflower User Group Gains Momentum

Teandra Pyles, the newly elected President of the Sunflower Systems User Group, is kicking off her term with an enthusiastic leadership team, innovative ideas and increased engagement with Sunflower Systems clients.

The Intermec CN70 is the next generation of the Intermec CN3 scanner with improved functionality. This ultra rugged handheld has advanced barcode imaging technology and faster computing speed to help you do your job more efficiently.

Psion EP10

The Psion EP10 will replace the Psion Ikon scanner. Key features of the EP10 include the ability to disable hardware for the wireless and Bluetooth capabilities.

Note: Mobile Bundle 5.0 will continue to be supported on your Intermec CN3, Motorola MC75A and Psion Ikon scanners.
